In Love
We woke up to a beautiful day! Cape Town has no humidity, which is the complete opposite of Durban, and Miles and I were both overjoyed by this. The humidity in Durban kicks your butt, so it was such a nice break to be away from it. Joan had made us some ‘donut’ pastries for breakfast—I will have to find out what the Afrikaans name for them is—and they were incredibly good. I can already tell the food here is very different than in Durban. Ryan and Miles then came by to pick Lauren and I up for Camps Bay. To see it in the day time was amazing—it was the most beautiful place I have ever seen in my life. I was astounded and in love all at once. We spent the entire day here. It was the perfect temperature, the wind wasn’t blowing too much (wind in Cape Town is notorious—it can get up to 60mph!!), and the sun was shining down. We just lazed around in the sand and talked the entire day. It was so relaxing and incredible. We were right on the beach coast, and surrounding us were the mountains—Lion’s Head and the Table Mountains. I can’t wait to put pictures up. I fell in love immediately
